On December 15th, the results of the Startup Development Program — Krastsvetmet acceleration program, aimed at searching for ideas for new products and technologies in the field of precious metals — were summarized at R&D Park.
Absentee expert assessment covered 74 submitted projects, after which authors of the 7 best projects were invited to Krasnoyarsk. During the 1st 2 days, the finalists familiarized themselves with production, they improved their presentations with the help of the company experts, and adapted their developments for real business. The authors then presented their ideas to Krastsvetmet expert board.
Voting result was a surprise both for the participants and for the judges – all the ideas were declared promising for cooperation. Krastsvetmet Director General Mikhail Dyagilev noted the high level of readiness the projects have for further implementation and orientation on the company tasks. “Chances are high that cooperation will continue with all the projects seen today”.
The next stage for startups will be signing of agreements for joint developments with Krastsvetmet R&D Park, as well as the creation of individual work plans for each project.
It shall be reminded that the Startup Development Program was launched in spring 2017. In total, 150 innovators from 15 cities in Russia and neighboring countries registered in the Program.
